Governor Matawalle Condoles Mayana Family, Appoints New Ubandoman Wanke

Governor Bello Mohamned (Matawallen Maradun) has condoled the family of the District Head of Wanke, Alhaji Abdulkadir Mayana who passed away last week, just as he announced the appointment of Alhaji Rabiu Isah Mayana as the new Ubandoman Wanke.While condoling the family in Gusau, Governor Bello Mohammed extolled the virtues of the deceased where he described him as upright in character when he lived and a just and exemplery leader to the younger generation.

Governor Matawalle prayed to Allah to forgive his soul of all his mistakes and urged the family to have the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The deceased, who died at the age of 71 on Friday, 14th of February, 2020, ruled for 17 years and left behind three wives and17 children.

The newly appointed Ubandoman Wanke Alhaji Rabiu Isah Mayana was born in 1952 and has worked as a classroom teacher, a Primary School headmaster and later an Education Supervisor. He later rose to the level of a Director at the Local Government level where he retired in 2010. He is married with children.
