Hon. Otegbeye Oluwaseun Peter (OOP) an Omo-Ilu extract is a great grassroot mobilizer and staunch PDP Member who have a good and clean records. His doggedness and willingness for humanitarian activities is unequivocally posited.

Young Otegbeye was born on September 19th, 1987 to the Family of Otegbeye Dynasty in Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government, Ogun State. He is a Graduate of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Coming to the Political Background, Otegbeye’s Dynasty is one of the great reputable name in Ogun State as a whole, after necessary consultation and reaching out to the Wards and Local Government Excos and Stakeholders in Yewa South Local, unanimously vote of confidence have been passed on him with integrity and transparency over his political aspiration as the Next Member, House of Assembly Representing Yewa South Constituency in Ogun State House of Assembly.

Hon. Peter Otegbeye, a loyal party person has contributed immensely to the growth of the party (PDP) at the grassroot level by supporting members in the 10 wards of Yewa South local government.

An omo-ilu extract, Peter has supported the campaign for Hon.(Dr.) Oladipupo Adebutu fcpa as the in-coming governorship aspirant on the platform of PDP

On several occasions he has visited all the 10 wards with food items at festive seasons, to support the effort of Hon. Adebutu. Last December, he unilaterally presented 2 bags of rice to each ward for the Christmas celebrations.

Early in life, Hon. Peter discovered a love for the development of his local government and this bare to the fact to represent his people at the State House of Assembly. This love is unquantifiable. It’s something that has always challenged him to consider new ideas and venture beyond his comfort zone.

For the Youth in the local government, this is their time. Otegbeye’s penchant for education is unbiased. In his words, “Perhaps one of the most important ways I’ve been able to cultivate a passion for life-long learning is through reading – I love that you can see the world colored in an entirely different way just by absorbing a piece of text.”

The story of Otegbeye Oluwaseun Peter (OOP) is the story of Hope, Peace, and a BETTER TOMORROW. We must tell a story that gives Hope to the Hopeless.

Over the years, he has seen development deficit in our communities and the worrisome state we have found ourselves in the education sector, agriculture sector and health sector.

His area of interest (s) are not far-fetched and they are: Enhancing community health care by providing free medical services and clean water to rural communities. Educating children and young adults in rural communities. Alleviating the extreme poverty in communities by empowering women and our youths.

Hon Otegbeye’s at the House of Assembly will be founded on the restoration of constitutional democracy, justice for allcitizens according to their inalienable rights, progressive laws that will ensure the security of personand property, support the sustainable growth of a vibrant economy, reinstate transparent andaccountable government, and underpin the equitable management of our resources on behalf, andfor the benefit, of Yewa South Local Government.

To build the future that we want, it requires showing up and participating. A free and fair democracy where the will of the people prevails is required in order to build a government for and by the people – and to achieve our priorities for working with the people.
