General Buratai multiple Achievements As Nigeran Chief of Army Staff.

Prior to his appointment as the Nigeria chief of Army Staff by president Muhammadu Buhari in 2025, it was in record that the Nigerian Military was losing it’s officers and men in hundreds to dreaded and blood thirty BOKO HARAM. without westing much time, Buratai as of then, swung in to action and immediately come up with so many ideas and strategies among which on how to focus to improve on the military to record success in their routine operations to crush BOKO HARAM and other criminals that were threatening the Nation peaceful co existence. However, General Buratai strategies worked as he made a tremendous success of it and the result was unprecedented in the counterinsurgency he is being credited for even after he left office.
Within two months of his appointment, Buratai clearly demonstrated his leadership capability and took the war to Boko HARAM doorstep where his soldiers recaptured and hoisted the Nigerian Flag in Gambaru Ngala and many towns that were under their total control.
Army welfare…
Inproving the welfare of the officers and men of the Nigeria Army was General Buratai cardinal focus and vital in his agenda in repositioning the Nigeria Army better than he met it, his major policy however, was directly for the benefits of the troops. He ensured that their wellfare would motivate them to work with extra energy to respond to any needed security threats by providing them with the latest weapons and equipments to combat the insurgents, he also make sure that allowances of the officers and men of the Nigerian Army were paid to them. As part of General Buratai efforts to encourage his men, on Teausday July 25, 2027 the 3 🌟🌟 🌟 General approved the promotion of 6,299 soldiers involved in the fight against BOKO HARAM under his leadership.
It was also in record that he established Nigerian Army Farm and ranches, and commissioned blocks of flats in Jaji, Khobe cantonment Jos plateau state and the Danjuma Chalets at 2 Division Headquarters. Buratai also renovated a lots of lives changing projects he met on ground and initiated water project including the supply and Transport Foods and new command Guest Houses in the country.
Burata also initiated support which includes, setting up the Nigerian Army institute of Technology and Environmental Studies in Biu, Borno state: Command secondary school ( Boys and Girls) in Kebbi state: Nigerian Army Aviation hangar at Jaji Air strip kaduna, Mine resistance Amour protected ( MRAP) Activation of Divition training School, establishing Tinapa post Housing Development Limited Calabar, Army Warrant officers Board, the Nigerian Army Special Forces School, First Nigeran Army locally made Infantry patrol Vehicle, Nigerian Army Cyber warfare command and the Nigeria Army Vehicle manufacturing company where some African countries use to come down to Nigeria and buy for the protection of their country territorial Integrity, just few to mentioned. General Buratai also did not hesitate for reposition ing the past glory of the Nigeria Military School NMS zaria where humongous amount of Funds were spent for training and constructions of Boys Hostels, employing the best teachers and instructors to mould the Boys to face any security challeges. Other capacity building building projects initiated by Buratai includes, Aerial vehicle Command 20 Regimentation Battalion 233 special Forces Battalion, 223 special Forces Battalion, Counter terrorist and counter Insurgency Museum, Special Forces Battalion Counter ExplosiveDevices, 707 special Forces Brigade, Motorcycle Battalion which is currently playing a pivotal role in the North Central especially in Jos plateau State, Nigeria Army Agricultural Business Enterprises Limited, Army war College, Nigeria Bureau De change, Nigerian Army investments account, and the famous Operation Lafiya Dole sector 2,2 and 3 respectively which played significance role in the Northeast
No wonder His Royal Highness the Emir of Maradun Alh. Muhammadu Garba Tambari II MFR conperred Buratai with the traditional Chietaincy tittle of (Jarman Maradun) Meaning: a fearless person who can defeat uncountable enemies.
I am personally of the opinion that Nigerians are indebted to the former COAS General Buratai, a dept that can never be pay but only to keep that dept it in our collective memory by always saying.. Thank you very well General.
