Banditry: group back Matawalle call for Self Defence.

A Coalition of Civil Society groups under the aegis of Civil Society for Peace and Security matches in support of Governor Bello Matawalle’s Self-Defence Security Model while receiving Sallah homage at his residence in Maradun.

The group led by Mallam Adamu Kwatarkwashi endorsed Governor Bello Matawalle’s creation of Community Protection Guards (CPG) asserting that self-defense becomes necessary with the spate of security breach and the clear inadequacy of security personnel’s to curtail the activities of terrorist bandits.

Addressing the group, “Governor Bello Matawalle commended the group’s patriotic move asserting that security as a necessary precondition for peace and development should be the business of all. He recounted the numerous measures he has been taking on the security many of which were replicated by other neighbouring states.
