Zamfara politics: 11’500 PDP supporters sets to join APC next week.
As the 2023 general elections campaign officially kick-started about 11,500 supporters of the Embattled Zamfara State PDP governorship aspirant Dr, Dauda Lawal Dare have concluded defection plans in to the rulling All progressive Congress APC to contribute their enormous contribution to the development of the party in Zamfara and Nigeria.
Out of the intended defectors list received by one of the APC chieftain indicate 70% are women who severally filled up assistance forms two years ago with the promise from the Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare to assist them with soft loans to encourage their small scale businesses, but the reports revealed that nothing was given to them except the the 20 thousand Naira they have been benefitting monthly as an assistance from the government of Matawalle despite being the PDP supporters.
” How possible is it to support a candidate Aspirin for governor with fake promises and very difficult to see, or even to have access to his phone number when there is problem? ” One of the leader of the defectors asked?
Another intending defector from PDP to APC who simply identify himself as Alh. Musa Wonaka said that, ” the way and manner in which the PDP primaries process was dramatically conducted and monumental monetary inducement that brought the emergence of Dr, Dauda Lawal Dare was terrible.
” As a delegate I can’t explain how the primaries was conducted I only read the results out come in the radio and social media, ” One of the defector narrated.
