NATIONAL HONOUR: DAUDA LAWAL DARE REMOVED FROM THE LIST OF THE AWARDS ON CORRUPTION AND SUSPECTED LINKAGES TO GLOBAL TERRORISM.

The Zamfara state PDP governorship candidate Dr Dauda Lawal Dare today met an embarrassment of the highest order in his life, following the removal of his name from the list of national honour awards, 10 hours before the presentation.
Dr Lawal Dare who mobilised large crowd of well wishers to witness the presentation of the honour awards was said to be consipecuously absent from the event as he had no words for the crowd he mobilised.
Dauda Lawal Dare who was a former Executive Director of the First Bank, also switched off all his phones throughout the day to avoid calls and high demand for explanations on the removal of the name.
Investigations into the reasons for the removal of the name revealed that Dauda Lawal Dare’s name was removed from the National Honour Awards due to his past records in corruption cases and his linkages to the former Nigerian Petroleum Minister Dizani Alison Maduekwe accused of mass stealing of public funds. The investigations further revealed that the Governorship candidate who is also battling to get his candidacy accepted by the National Independent Electoral Commission due to irregularities during the Zamfara PDP Governorhip Primary and the rejection of its re-run by other contestants, is also suspected of have link with global terroriats.
Many of those who went to the venue of the National Honour Awards presentation in support of Dr Dare went out of the venue grumbling and calling for Dare to come out and explain to them reasons for his absence at the event and the removal of his name from the National Honour Awards list.
