Following unprecedented attainment of peace in Zafara State, Governor Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun), MON, is expected to deliver a paper at the 1st German-African Forum for vocational Traning in Berlin on the 20th of this month.
This follows an invitation extended to the Governor by the organisers of the event, AFRKA-VEREIN, which is expected to hold in Berlin, where he is equally expected as a Guest of Honour, to “share his thoughts” with the delegates at the event.
The letter, signed by both the Director-General of the Organisation, Mr Chritoph Kannenglefer and the Head of Division, Dr Andrea’s Werner, said the Forum will compose of high rankinig Government and business personalities from both Germany and Nigeria. “we hope you will accept our invitation to share your thoughts with our delegates”, the letter said in part.
Since the attainment of peace in Zamfara state, many prospective investors in Nigeria and beyond have indicated interest to come to the state, with Afrixembank now leading the team with a gradual investment of one billon dollars in the areas of transport, agriculture and tourism in the state .
It would be recalled that only last week, the US Embassy in Nigeria de-listed Zamfara state from States “not to be visited” by Americans. This idication follows its latest warning circular to its citizens visiting or staying in Nigeria which excludes Zamfara state in that regard.
