LIKE JOSHUA DARIYE AND JOLLY NYAME, ICPC INSIDER INSIST EX-ZAMFARA GOVERNOR, ABDUL AZIZ YARI MUST FACE JUSTICE.

A source close to the Independent corrupt practices commission ICPC who pleaded anonymity said that; “Zamfara State former Governor Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari is not better than ex_ governor of plateau state Joshua Dariye and Reverend Jolly Nyame of Taraba state who are currently serving a various Jail term in prison as a results of corruption offences.

According to the source, “the two former governors mentioned were all active members of the ruling all progressive Congress APC at the time of their arrest and subsequent imprisonment, therefore zamfara state former governor Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari should not be seeing himself above the law.

The source further said, “the ICPC received so many petitions and criticisms from the middle belts leaders and civil society organizations that we are only interested in prosecuting the former Christians governors. “But that is not true because the commission is working day and night to free Nigeria and Nigerians from corruption, ” the source revealed.

With this news, recall that the former Zamfara state governor Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari is deeply involved in many corruption’s cases running in to billions of Naira as the then governor of Zamfara state and Chairman governors forum respectively.
