Former Secretary General of the Federation, Babachir Lawal has decided to speak about 2023 presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar and the presidential ticket that is presented by the opposition party ahead of the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.
In a video uploaded on Twitter by a Nigerian identified as Omoelerin Jare, Babachir Lawal who spoke about the former vice president during a zoom interview with Njenje TV, revealed that about 40 Christian politicians from North were concerned with the Labour Party and its 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, because they do not have the structure required for them to win the office of the presidency next year unlike the PDP and APC.
The politician however, revealed that the number of the politicians was later reduced to 10, and they were looking for the Christian that will become the next president of Nigeria. According to Babachir Lawal, his colleague, Yakubu Dogara decided to support Atiku Abubakar because his vice presidential candidate, Ifeanyi Okowa is a Christian.
Babachir Lawal further noted that he and other politicians have been discussing with the Labour Party on how they shy build their structures, adding that the party will have a high chance of winning in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election when such structures are built.
