GOVERNOR MATAWALLE COMMENDS ZAMFARAN YOUTH FOR SUPPORT TO HIS ADMINISTRATION

Governor Bello Muhammad (Matawallen Maradun) has expressed his appreciation to the people of Zamfara State for the unflinching support given to his administration.

The Governor made the expression today when a group of Youth paid him a solidarity visit upon his return to Gusau, the state capital, from an official trip to Abuja.

Governor Matawalle described the vibrancy of the Youth in the state as a strong pillar of his administration and promised to continue exploring ways through which the Youth in the state could be empowered.

“For a long time, you have been neglected. Many of you need to go to school, others need jobs to do. We shall continue to find ways through which you will gainfully be empowered so that you can meaningfully contribute to the development of our dear state” Governor Matawalle told the Youth.

He called on them to shun the preaching of violence and disobedience to constituted authority as drummed by some unpatriotic politicians in the state. “Some disgruntled politicians, for their selfish reasons, are not happy with our success in bringing peace to our towns and villages. They will come to you with incisive propaganda. Shun them as their motive is inimical to our collective wellbeing”, Governor Matawalle warned.

He described as worrisome that the same crop of politicians who ruled the state and plunged it into unprecedented violence and horror are now claiming to be Saints even as they, behind the scene, work hard to breach the peace.

“They woefully failed during their time and are hell bent to whip up every unimaginable sentiments to set the people against us with the sole aim of portraying us as failures like them, Governor Matawalle observed.

“Whatever you do, always remember that you are the future of our prosperity and well being. Do not allow anyone to use you in compromising your future and that of your dear state” Governor Matawalle cautioned the Youth.
