Chief Mrs Yetunde Babajide is a grassroots player with great passion for the masses by teaching them how to fish rather than giving out fish. To this end she has pioneered and developed lots of developmental templates to empower the disadvantaged masses with critical skills necessary to function in the modern economy of today.
She has especially mentored market women in the agricultural value chain on how to upgrade their products by means of better processing and packaging thereby attracting premium prices and upscale market access. Many have been lifted out of poverty as a result of this and other similar initiatives.
As a consequence of her public spiritedness many institutions including traditional rulers have been honouring her profusely. She is the Iyalode of Ojodu land, Yeye Taiyese of Ojokoro Kingdom and Jagunmolu of Agbado Kingdom among others.
A motivational speaker per excellence she uses the media especially Radio to reach out to encourage and empower people for productivity. A renown woman leader in politics she has been a model for young girls to emulate in politics and business.
This is the reason AccessWEEKLY Magazine is proud to honour her with the “AMAZON OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP” to celebrate her contributions. The event is scheduled for Sunday 13th December 2020 at the Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industry Conference and Exhibition Centre by MKO Abiola Gardens by 3pm prompt.
