2022 RAMADANWELFARE: GOV MATAWALLE DISTRIBUTES ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES WORTH 896.8 MILLION NAIRA TO ORPHANS.

The Gov of Zamfara state Hon (Dr) Bello Mohammed Matawallen Maradun has ordered the immediate distribution of 2022 Ramadan welfare to 40, 000 orphans across the 17 Emirates of the state.

This is in addition to the 1.8 billion naira worth of essential commodities the governor ordered to be distributed to other categories of people in the state as ramadan welfare to the people.

The distribution of the essential commodities which comprised Rice, Maize, Millet, Sugar, Atampa and shaddah brocades worth 896. 8 million naira would be conducted by the state Zakkat and Endowment Board would commence from today Friday, April 8th 2022.

The governor said the gesture is part of his administration’s efforts to give maximum attention and comfort to the orphans, less privileged and the vulnerable in the society, especially during the Ramadan period to alleviate their sufferings and make life easier during the fasting period and beyond.

Gov Matawalle said his government has since its inception been carrying along, the orphans and the vulnerable across the state and warned that any person caught diverting the commodities would be seriously dealt with.

It may be recalled that the gov recently distributed food stuff, clothing materials, mattresses and cash to oephans, the vulnerable groups and less privileged in the society to alleviate their sufferings.
