The State Working Committee of the Zamfara Chapter of the APC today met with His Excellency, the Executive Governor of the state, Hon Dr Bello Mohammed Matawalle to fine-tune strategies toward an overwhelming win in the upcoming 2023 general elections.

Speaking at the meeting, the State APC Chairman, Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani who expressed confidence in the ability of the party to achieve success in all the contestable elections from the state noted that the grounds have been made smooth due largely to the governor’s effort in impacting positively in the lives of the people of the state.

Danfulani commended the governor for initiating peace and reconciliation with stakeholders and aggrieved members which he pointed as key in ensuring internal unity of the party and its chances of success.

He also said, the governor’s effort in tackling insecurity issues which have bedeviled the state had been magnanimously working in ensuring the full return of peace in the state which will in turn encourage the electorate participate in the polls that will ensure the emergence and continuity of good leaders who have the people’s interests as their major concern.

The party chairman who thanked the governor for allowing the party its rightful place and working with the leaders as a family, assured the support of the party to all government programmes and policies through an increased and sustained publicity in order to achieve the set goals.

While receiving the party leadership, the Barden Hausa and Shattiman Sokoto gave a big pat on the leadership for the support to his administration and successes being recorded in the party through convincing approach to the envy of the opposition.

Matawalle remarked that his administration is anchored on the support, cooperation and prayers of the good people of Zamfara and the exceptional leadership style being demonstrated by the APC leaders of the state and urged them not to relent in this direction.
