Breaking: Rivers Police Confirms Former Reps Member, Chinyere Igwe Arrested With $500,000
Barely 58 hours to the much awaited 2023 Presidential Election, a former member of the House of Representatives and supporter of the PDP Presidential candidate, Hon. Chinyere Igwe was allegedly arrested in the early hours of Friday morning along Aba road in Port Harcourt with over Five Hundred Thousand US Dollars ($500,000.00)
Igwe once represented Port Harcourt II in the House of Reps between 2007 and 2011. He’s presently the Commissioner for Rivers State Urban Development.
He claimed the whooping $500,000.00 was given to him by Atiku to ensure his electoral success in Rivers State.
A phone call to the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Grace Iringe-Koko confirmed the arrest. She told Metropolix Online there was an arrest to that effect but she was driving and asked us to send WhatsApp message to get the details.
