As part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to ending insurgency, rural banditry, separatists movement, and other forms of criminality, the ministry of defence and defence headquarters, on Tuesday organised a site seeing inspection visit to Borni state to assess the impact of military operations in the state, with a view to reinvigorating the operations.
The tour carried the two ministers of defence Abubakar Badaru and Bello Matawalle, as well as the service
Chiefs to areas of high security concerns and the areas cleared of insurgents by the special military operations in the state and its neighbourhood.
The ministers commended the service Chiefs for their inflicting devotion and untiring commitment in comandering the gallant soldiers in the operations.
The ministers also commended the state Gov Prof Babagana Umara Zulum for his support and cooperation, as well as providing an enabling environment for military operations.
