GOVERNOR MATAWALLE SETTLES LAWYERS ALLOWANCES

Governor Bello Mohammed (Matawallen Maradun) has paid State Councels the sum of N18million as Wardrobe Allowances, just as all the fees for Law School students from the state were also settled.

The payment came to the as a surprise as they never enjoyed the allowance throughout the eight year period of the previous administration.

Solicitor-General in the state, Ahmed Liman esq, who collected the cheque on behalf of the Solicitors expressed their gratitude to the administration of Matawalle for the kind gesture.

“This is quite a surprise to all of us as we have had to do with our meagre resources to appear presentable at Court all these years. Today, we have unexpectedly gotten what is our tight and this will go a long way in boosting our image in the profession”, Liman said.

Similarly, the Chairman of Nigerian Law Students Association NBA, Sanusi Mayana commended the state Governor for settling their fees and promised to work hard in attaining excellence at the Law School.
